Physical Therapist Andy Snyder says, "I love the satisfaction I get from helping people feel better." He enjoys the full-team approach and understands patients are there to get help with their condition. The neurosurgeons, physiatrists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse practitioners, and physical therapists all work together for the patient's benefit. "Many times, depending on the diagnosis, the physicians will send patients to therapy first to see if they improve. Conversely, if we are treating someone in therapy and they just are not responding as planned, it is nice to be able to walk upstairs and personally speak to the provider to let them know first-hand what is going on with the patient," he says.
